Thank you for your response. I did browse the internship directory and came across one internship that fits my interest. I emailed them immediately and now I am waiting for a response. I realize they are located in US, Pennsylvania, US, and would prefer moving to pursue practical opportunity while studying for my theoretical exam. I am not sure if these opportunities are for Canadian students affiliated with CSEP and not ASCM. To me, both these certifying bodies have equivalent competencies in the area of exercise physiology.

Pritha, I assume you've already contacted CSEP for their help with your search? Otherwise, CEPA does have an internship program directory on their website that you could search - but I am confident that most sites listed there are in the US. Best of luck to you!

I am currently studying to be a certified exercise physiologist through CSEP and I am working through the theoretical content. I was wondering, if anyone knew where I can acquire my practical experience (100 hours or more) that would adequately prepare me for the practical exam. I enjoy hands on learning, which helps to reinforce my theoretical knowledge. I have acquired my education background in neuroscience and kinesiology and I am located in Ontario, Canada.
