BRIEF SUMMARY
Fitness centers are no longer the place where only “healthy” individuals exercise. Members more often than not, present with chronic medical conditions and special considerations, which would be best accommodated by a clinical exercise physiologist. Join Mary Stauder, Senior Director at Elite Sports Clubs, in an active discussion on how to become a clinical trailblazer in non-medical settings by unpacking tools for clinical exercise professionals on to how to build their niche, empower lifelong wellness through prevention and management, and use education as the tool to build your training business.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Mary StauderMary Stauder is the Senior Director at Elite Sports Clubs, where she supports fitness programming and operations in the greater Milwaukee area. She has a masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and bachelors degree in Exercise Sport Science, both from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She holds certifications as an ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Exercise is Medicine Credential Level 3, and NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer. Whether it has been piloting the role of a clinical exercise physiologist in primary care-corporate wellness, owning her own private practice, Rx Fit To Lead, working as a clinical exercise physiologist at Canyon Ranch’s Tucson resort, or within her current role as Senior Director, her clinical background and passion for prescribing exercise as medicine has empowered her to trailblaze her own career through various settings as a leader and practitioner, while breaking the mold of the standard career path of a clinical exercise physiologist. Mary is an executive committee Member-at-Large of the CEPA.
