BRIEF SUMMARY
During this webinar we will discuss the career path for clinical exercise physiologists interested in clinical research. Topics will include reasons how such a career path can be rewarding, day-to-day responsibilities, various titles and compensation, certifications, and special skill sets that can be beneficial to achieve and sustain a career in clinical research.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Crystal Grimshaw is from metropolitan Detroit, Michigan where she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Oakland University. She then completed an Associates in Applied Science in Fitness Leadership and worked as a personal trainer with the YMCA. The majority of her clients had chronic health issues and working with this population sparked her interest in clinical exercise physiology. She completed her Masters in Exercise Physiology from Oakland University in 2017 which included two internships in cardiac rehabilitation. She has been with Henry Ford Health since 2016 working as a clinical exercise physiologist and a clinical research coordinator.
